Sunday (wine) School
Join Julie Minor, sommelier extraordinaire of Crusade, for Sunday School at The Carter Payne. Join us for wine classes from basic to Bordeaux, from wild to Willamette to whimsical! Wine aficionados of all confidence levels (especially beginners!) are invited out to taste, explore, and gain confidence in the world of wine.
We’ve been to wine tastings where we’ve tasted a bunch, and had a lot of fun, but didn’t learn much. We’ve also been to wine classes where we learned a ton, but didn’t have much fun doing it. These classes split the difference! Whether you’re just getting your wine legs, or you’re a praticed drinker, you’ll find both education and enjoyment here. From our intro series, A Wine Primer, to our tours of the old world and new world of wine, to our varietal-by-varietal breakdown, there’s something for everyone.
